      I handled global communication and concept development for Starbreeze's own games, as well as those published. That covered everything from websites, ads, social media, and YouTube videos to names of weapons/bundle/characters, writing taglines, forum posts, t-shirts, events, trailers, backstory/lore, and even a comic book. I worked both "outside" the games as well as texts for in-game - both for story, descriptions and sometimes UX. My job also included setting the tone-of-voice, creating overarching concepts, putting together a press release and writing something in like 5 min as well as being a creative force when it came to all aspects of marketing - whether it may be a teaser for a new game, or an online manual.       Kiwi approached me after they had played my homemade text based games. They wondered if I would be interested in working together with them as they were creating a text game tool called Sequel. They sought writers who could create compelling stories, and just wanted to see what I could do. Sequel is based on texting (either phone or chat) and the games can be compared to old "choose your own adventure" games. I created a concept for a game that they liked, and wrote characters, dialogue etc. They liked it, so I got hired to write another game. Both within the horror genre.
