      • Apr 2021 - Present

As a G1 Human Resources Sergeant, my main role is to provide full-time operational support for the 4TH Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) (4TH ESC). I am responsible for processing HR personnel actions for nearly 6,000 Soldiers within the 4TH ESC. I serve as a liaison between individual soldiers, subordinate units from every level, and the command/leadership team. One of the most critical responsibilities I have, is to conduct monthly inspections, data interpretation, and analysis. This is done to ensure individual soldiers and subordinate units are meeting the U.S Army Reserve’s standard for deployment and mission readiness. I regularly brief the Commanding General (position equivalent: Executive Officer) on personnel and administrative actions that require their approval/disapproval to process. In order to maintain operational readiness, I conduct Personnel Records Reviews, audits, and updates for 300 Soldiers assigned to the Headquarters Company. I serve as a Subject Matter Expert for awards, personnel actions, and deployment readiness metrics. I am constantly developing departmental tools to streamline certain actions and processes at the G1 level for our subordinate units. I provide outstanding customer service to my immediate command and the units that fall within it. I also provide HR support to sixty-two units throughout Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. I develop and execute training lesson plans and tools to provide professional development to other HR professionals and Junior Soldiers. I am familiar with DTS, RLAS, CSMM, eMILPO, iPERMS, eSRB, ePAT, and other Human Resources Information Systems. I continue to be adaptive and flexible in a fast-paced environment, to ensure the success of the 4TH ESC’s mission and ongoing support for each Soldier in our command. Show less
