As Team Lead I have implemented a strategic way to improve our productivity in which the team has been able to get media content back to our clients faster. This allowed for our clients to host their products sooner than before and start earning revenue earlier than expected. Our team’s performance has increased 20% which opened up opportunities for the production engineering team to cross-train with our Live-Events department. Over the last year I have worked with our IT dept to re-organized our complex media infrastructure to simplify the path for files to be found for the entire company. We tracked the success of our progress and mapped out our project using SalesForce.* Improved Production Engineering efficiency by 20% by allowing all team members to have access to all programs and platforms.* Designed a more structured filing system for our in-house files of recordings and live event content and pre-recorded content sent from our affiliates* Work with over 100 clients ranging from Attorneys at the Bar Associations to Law Firms, Real-Estate, Pools & Spas, and a large scale of Physicians within the Medical Associations to create a best practice and standard of operations with how media content is edited, and published in the archives for future viewing.* Cross-train our engineers with Live-Events team using LogMeIn platform (GoToWebinar, GoToMeeting, GoToTraining, Citrix) for a full circle of where content comes from to editing to publishing for our affiliates.* Collaborate with Contact Center and Client Service Management teams to resolve technical issues experienced by our customers in a timely manner to fulfil over 300 tickets/month. As a Production Engineer, I was able to see the full life cycle of our media content come in from over 150 clients to our Live Events Team, and our Client Service Management Team. I was responsible for locating the files, editing, encoding, publishing all content and add any special effects needed as requested per client.* Before being promoted to Team Lead I was in charge of the majority of the day to day production functions. I was left to manage the implementation on guidelines for training new hires, and consistently surpassed our turnaround time for our daily assignments* During my tenure, I was exposed to a variety of platforms like Cut Assistant, Microsoft Expression, HandBreak before we settled with Adobe Premiere which we still use today. We accompanied this with Excel, Word, And Adobe acrobat for PowerPoint slide transitions, the use of PowerPoint slides themselves, and adding in and Closed Caption.* As a Production Engineer, our team would regularly meet with our Client Service and Sales team to collaborate on the needs for requests sent in from particular clients to ensure processes were being streamlined through our ticketing system and for sales to be billed or adjusted based on current time spent during edits. This ensured work-flow through the pipeline and clients knowing what work was being billed for.* Throughout our daily and weekly tasks, I was assigned over 50 tickets between our Client Service Team, at least 15 tickets from our Live-Events team, and 20 end user tickets from our phone support team. These would range from, but not limited to, editing out any breaks in the content of the video, to encoding mp3's, to fixing broken links, and adding special effects. Show less
