Bio
Gabriel B. Gatchalian
Working with Julio Dolores has been an enjoyable experience. Julio has a unique blend of skills ranging, but not limited to; graphic design, photography, video production and editing, marketing, branding and more. Julio is a self-starter. With his knowledge and skill set, Julio was able to dive right in with little to no instruction and was not hesitant to ask questions when he couldn’t find the answers. He had no problems what-so-ever to step out of his comfort zone and assist wherever help was needed most, which was something we found extremely valuable to our work environment. During his time at the Fresno State’s Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Julio Dolores also demonstrated a strong understanding of the principles and elements of design and used that to leverage his work by designing multiple concepts and presenting them to clientele ranging from students to community members. His creative process is ahead of his current experience and understood the importance of prioritizing work based on deadlines. Julio was open to critique and took feedback well, which demonstrated that he had the overall capability to adapt regardless of the situation. Julio also assisted with design and production work for numerous Lyles Center programs and services which strengthened his understanding of brand development and led to him take a lead role in our High School programs. Our organization was blessed to have someone who had such a strong work ethic. I can whole-heartedly say that Julio has been a huge part in the growth of our organization. I believe with additional guidance and instruction, Julio can flourish in any work setting.
