Julie Wylie was my Nia Technique® White Belt trainer in late 2015. She was an organized, enthusiastic, approachable somatic educator. I began the 7-week training considering the idea of becoming a future Nia teacher. I was not sure if I would be able to teach. But Julie inspired me to commit to becoming a teacher, and I have since made the first steps toward leading a class in a full routine. Julie's sincerity, integrity and ability to communicate with a variety of personality types continues to inspire me in both my personal and professional life.

Julie's Nia classes are deeply intuitive and ripe with spirit. I felt wonderful after having danced with her for an hour and a half. The experience was over 2 years ago and I still remember the wonderful dance routine she taught us. Judy Cates

Tai Chi is gentle exercise. The circular movements of Tai Chi are non-strenuous, soft and flowing. It is often described as “moving meditation” because it relieves stress and improves concentration. The slow turning motions loosen the joints and spine and relax points of tension in the body. Tai Chi trains the mind to direct the flow of internal energy Chi and breath Qi. Tai Chi is gentle exercise. The circular movements of Tai Chi are non-strenuous, soft and flowing.
