Juliette has worked with Decathlon Singapore for a period of six months (4 May 2015 to 30 Oct 2015) as an Intern in the Marketing and Communications Department. I have found Juliette to be an extrovert and a natural leader. She is bubbly, lively and brings energy to a workplace. She is extremely driven, responsible and does not hesitate to make her opinions heard. She is also a very intelligent individual, often coming up with innovative solutions to existing problems. Juliette’s main responsibilities during this internship was to assist the Marketing and Communications team with customer acquisition by way of digital activities. A large emphasis was placed upon the optimization and improvement of Google Adwords, which she had accomplished quickly and efficiently. She was integral in our company’s migration of Google Adwords accounts, the setting up of a YouTube account, as well as coordinating the design and architecture of ad copies and keywords within those accounts. These actions have resulted in a positive (350%) increase in ROI on our advertising spend. Her abilities have also been proven to transcend the digital space; she was actively assisting our ground team with their responsibilities, such as volunteering to assist with duties at our self-collection points, at our showroom and our warehouse. As a key highlight, she had the bravery to, as an intern, take charge of the entire clearance sale operation at our showroom, going so far as to provide instructions and direction for the entire team of more than 10 people. Juliette is extremely generous with her time, energy and intellect. With such a profile, she makes a great team member in any organization, and has proven that she can achieve measurable success within a short frame of time. As a people person, I have no doubt that Juliette will earn the respect and trust of those around her, just as how she has managed to garner a tremendous amount of respect in the space of a mere 6 months. I highly recommend Juliette for any team. Her agility and flexibility would mean that she will not be limited to any specific industry, and her intelligence and willingness to learn will ensure continued success in any projects she chooses to undertake.
