    • Communications Intern
      • Sep 2022 - Present

I joined Noble Schools as a Communications Intern as a former alumni of the charter school. I work directly with the Communications team while within the Public Affairs Department. My position tasks are but not limited to: data inputing, capturing BTS content, editing & finalizing Wordpress posts, and editing clips for Instagram. I input relevant articles, comments, and any other value onto Google Sheets. I provide assistance when Noble is recording their podcast "Changing the Course." I record BTS clips on my phone for future content planning. On top of that, I take note of quotable moments during the recording in order to use those moments for social content. When editing blog posts, I check for grammatical, clarity, and structure using Google Docs. Once edits are applied, I format the post for Wordpress and add all necessary elements. For more content building, I edit clips with quotable moments for Instagram using Adobe Premiere Pro or Instagram's own editor. On top of that, I provide research for podcast marketing, social media trends, and creating graphics using Canva. Show less

    • Creative Assistant and Social Media Coordinator
      • Jan 2021 - Present

After appearing in pilot episodes, I joined Media Munchies as their creative assistant in January of 2021. I helped organize/schedule recording dates, brainstorm topic ideas, and research said topics. During this time, I developed an interest in social media marketing and management. I collected my research and started to watch seminars on Google Garage to learn from all sources. I applied my research to Media Munchies' social media posts and saw an increase in listeners. From there on, I navigate social media hashtags, brainstorm image ideas, and share with other communities. After taking a short hiatus, due to drastic changes, we had a spark in our next slogan: It Just Doesn't Matter. As of now, we're set to come back in late 2022. Show less

At Ruido Fest, I work alongside my team as a Content Development Assistant. I brainstorm TikTok ideas, social posts, and anything in between. On top of that, I research influencers that meet our criteria and reach out to them via email. With that, I create a proposal sheet that outlines their tasks in working with Ruido Fest. When not working in the office, I attend festivals and concerts to promote Ruido Fest and interact with other businesses and musicians. While with Slate, I gained skills of understanding social media dialect, handling support information, and Facebook Business Suite. I joined TYWI in early summer 2021 as a Non Fiction Writing Camp Counselor. My role was providing resources, presentations, events, and writing prompts to campers among the ages of 14-24. Along side with my team members, I helped create & brainstorm topics for each week of camp. I presented a week of True Crime and Music journalism. I worked as a creative intern through the One Summer Chicago program. I was enrolled with ASPIRA and worked alongside various interns. Primarily, the internship revolved around building a website to showcase our work. As a writer, I made my website presenting my articles. On top of that, we used programs such as Canva and Wix to build our website. At the end of the internship, we presented our website to the ASPIRA staff via Zoom.
