I also collaborated with a team of other leaders to mentor incoming students and facilitate their transition into college. Travelled to various locations and collaborated with many different groups of people with widely varied conditions for performance. Negotiated fair salaries to the benefit of the client and myself. Transcribed arrangements of alternative music choices (i.e Disney music or popular music) to fit the classical cello when requested. Practiced in advance and managed logistics of start time, setup, and sound systems in venues with varied acoustics. Improvised when unforeseen circumstances extended program length, as in the case when bad weather made it unsafe for guests to leave the venue, and thus extended the program. Adapted to unforeseen circumstances in order to ensure that the bride and groom and all the guests had a pleasant extended reception with music. Show less
