As a General manager of Special Publications I conceived, developed and produced 3 new publications including a visitors guide and local phone directory for Leelanau County called Leelanau Pages and launched the online directory leelanaupages.com. I implemented plans, secured outside resources and technical support to launch this project into a profitable publication. I assisted in hiring sales staff and sold advertising exclusively the first year. I coordinated multiple departments and managed a staff of 4 account executives. The inaugural directory publication exceeded revenue projections by over 20% and continued to exceed revenue projections by over 35% the following 3 years. This directory remains in publication to date.
