Mary Beth Lacki
Julie is a creative professor and passionate designer who helped me to understand and appreciate graphic design. I went from knowing nothing about InDesign in the beginning of her class to building a professional and sophisticated final Masters thesis that I’m proud of. I believe Julie is one of the strongest professors in the SBU IMC Masters Program and it’s because of her patience and clarity that I’ve acquired skills which can be directly applied to my work every day. I recommend partnering with Julie on any design or branding project and hope to do the same in the future.

I studied under Julie at St. Bonaventure and thoroughly enjoyed my experience with her. Julie explains things very well, to a large range of students dealing with a large range of skills and familiarity with design applications. I was able to receive fantastic one-on-one feedback from her, as well as support within our cohort.
