  I worked to support the settlement staff at the North Bay & District Multicultural Centre. In this role I also worked with the Economic Development Department at The City of North Bay to support immigration attraction and retention projects. Some of the main projects I worked on include: -Worked with SWIS in implementing the new Settlement Workers in Schools program -Developed and Implemented Children and Youth Group activities to engage local community members -Hosted community events and networking opportunities for newcomers to the region -Developed the Unlearning Bias Using Persona Dolls Project, aimed at addressing discrimination and bias in young kids by providing educators with useable tools to promote inclusion and diversity awareness.
