I was lucky enough to have Julie already in post as Development Executive when I took over as Head of Development at the Museum of Science and Industry in 2012. Diligent, organised, creative, knowledgeable and with a tremendous eye for detail, I instantly promoted her. Whether it's generating cash for the cultural sector or renovating houses, you know Julie is one of those people who succeeds at whatever she turns her hand to. Look out Chester!

Establishing a brand new fundraising function to allow donors, funders & philanthropists to make a genuine contribution towards tackling some of humanity's biggest environmental & climate challenges; by enabling ground-breaking global marine science & research. SAMS is the UK's oldest independent marine science organisation; delivering research, education and enterprise for a sustainable marine environment. Come with us on the journey towards establishing healthy and productive oceans, that will in turn support life on Earth. You can help us to better understand our planet, and share that knowledge with policy makers, businesses and, most crucially, the next generation, so we truly recognise the role of the ocean in reversing environmental decline. It's a HUGE challenge. We're up for it - are you? Show less
