I worked for Julie during my placement year at Eli Lilly and Company on a daily basis, she is passionate about her work and her knowledge of PR and CSR is unrivalled. She has impressive interpersonal and communication skills, and my skills were vastly developed through my time spent with her and the advice and guidance she gave me.

At Elanco/Lilly, my role was wide and varied. I had responsibility for our Corporate and Social Responsibility programme, spearheading our activities within our community dedicated to working on our key social cause - tackling hunger at a local level. This was done in several ways - working with food charity FareShare, and the YMCA's Homeless Hostels Food Alliance on their 5 acre allotment site - Dutch Farm in Garston. Brand - both training for employees, culture and physical look and feel of the brand similarly fell within my remit. Another large part of my role included internal communications and here I was responsible for a whole plethora of communication tools on site. It was a massively varied job and included hosting and mentoring work experience students or school visits, to planting trees on the Dutch Farm site! Show less

I worked for the Director of the then National Museums and Galleries on Mersyside; and prior to receiving that promotion, worked for the Keeper at the Maritime Museum. Really interesting roles which required a massive amount of organisation and efficiency. Serviced several Committees and was involved with numerous private views at the museums and looking after VIP visits and tours including several royal visits.
