Microbiology Lab • Collect all specimens received in the lab, check specimen for leakage, expiration date, proper identification etc. Select the appropriate test and plant its culture. Some of the following tests include viral cultures, fungus cultures, stool parasites, E. coli. Inoculation specimen, sterilize the inoculating loop in the incinerator and spread out the specimen onto plate. Prepare slide for gram staining as needed.
