General and pre-event: * Defining the welcome services provided to guests; * Attending site visits and completing site visit reports; * Developing operational plans for the guest management areas of hotels and airports in all host cities; * Liaising with the logistics, accommodation and event transport projects to determine requirements at hotels and airports respectively; * Implementing defined communication procedures; * Preparing relevant documentation, presentations, dot plans and running orders for airports and hotels in each location; * Developing welcome desk manuals for use at all welcome desks; * Developing matchday ticket distribution plans in cooperation with VIP administration and VIP venue operations teams; * Recruiting on-site coordinators; * Planning all training for the VIP welcome service and executing it; * Supporting the development of table top exercises and simulations; * Developing detailed shift plans for operational staff; * Producing regular reports on welcome service planning.
