As part of an 80-person remote Colorado field office, employees did not want to contact HR in Washington D.D. with EEO issues and diversity complaints, so I volunteered to fill that need. During my ITS EEO Counselor (Collateral Duty) service, I dealt with three individual issues involving five ITS employees; all issues were resolved successfully, without litigation and all are still Department of Commerce employees.As the Vice-chair of the NTIA Diversity Council and the NTIA representative on the Boulder Labs Diversity Council (a NIST, NOAA, and NTIA consortium), promoted an inclusive work environment where everyone could thrive.
