Coordinated all aspects of new venture capital funding with major corporations, including due diligence, legal compliance and establishing an accounting system compliant with GAAP and subject to financial audit. Spearheaded efforts to remedy years of sales/use tax issues and revenue recognition issues under GAAP. Created and maintained quarterly financial statements and served as the Board Treasurer, providing all financial information and communication with board members and other interested parties. Served as the liaison to outside legal counsel to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
