  National charity, Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) helps boost the physical and emotional wellbeing of people undergoing cancer treatment through free Workshops, printed materials and online tutorials. My role is to seek out new partnerships within the corporate sector to help support our sponsorship and fundraising programme. Please do contact me for further information: julie@lgfb.co.uk The first Workshop for women was held 27 years ago and since then the charity has developed special sessions for young adults and, in 2018, introduced vitally needed services for men. in March 2020 we launched our Virtual Workshops in response to the pandemic as our physical workshops were suspended. In 2021 we hope to return to face to face support but will maintain our virtual offering in order to extend our reach all across the UK. Finding out you have cancer is traumatic. The added stress of the appearance related side-effects can be demoralising and feel overwhelming, which can have serious consequences at a time when a positive attitude is vital. Working closely with 140 hospitals and cancer support centres, LGFB are able to offer support to 20,000 people a year, with thousands more seeking advice online.
