I collaborated with Julie on many occasions over the course of four years. She is a powerhouse of knowledge when it comes to physician practice management and start-up. In addition, Julie is a pleasure to work with.

Julie was an absolute life saver when I began my career in practice management! She was hired to consult on the opening of a new outpatient facility. Julie helped me to assess the state of the current office and target exactly what needed to be tackled first, both at the original office and what was to come for the new one. I learned so much from her! She may not realize it but besides being a consultant, she really has developed into my mentor. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding all aspects of practice management - contract negotiations, A/R clean up, billing/coding, and software selection and implementation. I really could not have made it through my first year in practice management without her willingness to always help answer my questions and point me in the right direction. I still lean on her at times! Julie would be an absolute asset to anyone that works with her.

It was a privilege to work as a medical consultant for Resource One Health Management and BB&B CPAs over the past 12 years of my career. I was tasked to lead over 100 different projects during my time there, and I consistently helped increase the bottom line of the business. I consulted on over 25 medical facility and practices start-ups in various specialties including pediatrics, family & internal medicine, cardiology, urology, OBGYN, allergy, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, endocrinology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, oncology, otolaryngology, general surgery, ambulatory surgery centers, hospice, DME, long-term care pharmacy, and skilled nursing facilities. In many of these cases, I provided interim practice and facility management for these practices with up to 40 employees under my supervision. Other projects included developing and training multiple teams for billing, coding, and collections for a variety of specialties. Over my time as a medical consultant, I was able to develop a multi-faceted set of skills and tools to build client relationships and meet financial goals for both my clients and the consulting business. My experience includes:● Interim facility and practice management● Medical facility and practice start-ups● Revenue Cycle Management● Implementing software and computer systems● Credentialing and contract negotiations● Developing and training staff● Motivating client teams to achieve superior results● Billing and coding projects● Developing policies, procedures, and management tools● Analyzing financials and budgeting● Medical facility and practice valuations● Support for multiple healthcare related litigations● Building successful client relationships
