The focus of my research is to assess the effects of biological processes and tissue damage on the human body using experimental methods, imaging and computational modelling. My work is committed to use engineering principal and methods to answer specific clinical questions with the overarching goal of improving early diagnosis for better recovery. My research is concentrated in three areas: 1) Spine disorders, 2) foot and ankle biomechanics and 3) modelling of the musculoskeletal system.
