Julie is one of the college counselors at Berkeley Preparatory School. She is phenomenal at her job. Not only is she great at helping students find the perfect match, she is adept at creating relationships with the whole family. Julie takes a holistic approach to the process. In addition, she has made herself an integral part of the upper division, she is collaborative, friendly and personable.

Julie is quite possibly one of the most level-headed and organized people that I've ever met. She consistently (with a tremendous sense of poise and kindness) and coolly handles upset students, angry parents, and a constant barrage of questions from her office staff on a variety of issues; all while maintaining a game face for those who work for her to look up to. While Julie works in a different office within our division, she is someone that I look up to when wondering what the best model of a worker and a supervisor can and should be.
