President of Blackout Shirts: Sophomore Entrepreneurship Experience
-
Aug 2010 - May 2011
As part of the Entrepreneurship major, sophomore year we are placed into teams of 5-6 and given $5,000 to start our own company. Our company, Blackout Shirts, sold black basketball-themed t-shirts around campus. I was selected company/team president. Had to market, keep inventory, track expenses and sales of our product throughout the entire year. Created an entire business plan and presented our project to a panel of local entrepreneurs at the end of the semester.
