In both cases Julie was serving an employee communication role in airports and later Director - Employee Communications. I worked with her when I was in the roles of Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering at Alaska Airlines and Vice President Labor Relations. I always thought highly of Julie for her attitude, high energy, and passion for the team and the work. I worked with her mainly on employee communication and this was a time in which employee communication was being recognized as more and more important within the company.
