As a volunteer in the SMART project with AIESEC, I got to work with the NGO A Mulherada. Their mission is to empower women in Salvador Da Bahia through music. Percussion is part of their culture and giving lessons to women is helping the community understand the role women can have in society. With my co-worker, Stephanie, we were in charge of enhancing their marketing strategy. We started by getting to know the NGO's context by working closely with the founder. Once we understood what their needs were, we decided to develop their website through Wix. This allowed us to give them visibility to promote the NGO and their events. In addition to that, we were able to set up an online shop for them to sell their products. Since then, they have decided to change a few aspects of the website according to their personal tastes and abilities to update it but kept the main content.
