  This is the first undergraduate major of its kind in Philanthropic Studies, within the School of Liberal Arts. The major (33 credits) is designed to educate students in the emerging field of philanthropy and nonprofit organizations in the local, national, and international arena. Students gain understanding of the cultural traditions of voluntary action and practice working with others toward the common good.
