I was in Nairobi, Kenya during the entire month of June 2019 to teach fundamental business skills to entrepreneurs in the slum of Mathare. Leading up to this experience, I attended weekly meetings to develop presentation skills and team building. Along with a team of 4, we shared information based on the Business Model Canvas, with a focus on marketing, financials and presentation skills. Overall, it was a humbling and eye opening experience that undoubtedly taught me patience, spontaneity, team work and gratitude. Show less
