      Raise funds for our goal of $100,000. and awareness to help heart research. And, for every $2. Raised, Lubbock kept $1. For research done here in Lubbock, Tx. I asked Lubbock Mayor, Glen Robertson, To be our adult heart survivor honoree, & Rachel Gibson, our youth heart survivor honoree. She is the 22 year old daughter of Bert & Kendra Gibson. I worked daily w /Am Heart Asso-Director, Lori Griffith, to raise funds, and form & organize my team, who were the dream team!!! We named chairmans, we decided a theme..IGNITE.. We decided since it was the 25th Anniversary of the Lubb Heart Ball, to return to the Lubbock Country Club where the 1st HeartBall started. We came up w/design for invitations, decorations, live & silent auction items, w/a renowned Auctioneer, & his team; we decided food, & drinks, secured entertainment, secured the two heart doctors, of Mayor Robertson, and Rachel, as our key-note speakers. We secured local media awareness through the Lubbock Avalanche Journal newspaper, and KLLL radio PSA's. We had tv commercials donated by FOX34. We did a broadcast on KCBD tv. And secured our emcee, Meteorologist, Nikki Dee Ray Scott, of KLBK tv. We had a fabulous attendance, a successful goal, and a fun evening to help a great cause that affects every family in America.. You name it, we did it as a team:)

      After losing weight with this company, I had more referrals than anyone in the USA, & I was invited to Las Vegas, Nv to meet the owner, & every franchise owner in the USA & Canada. They asked me to be their spokesperson & I accepted this prestigious honor & in January's, I would travel to Florida to film tv commercials & photo shoots for magazines, brochures, posters, calendars, etc. I was in several Hearst Communication Magazines, including Good Housekeeping. I traveled to attend Bridal Fairs for lead generation. I hosted a weekly radio spot for 2 years, in the USA & Canada, including travel to centers all over the USA to inspire & encourage other people to pursue their weight loss goals & tell of my experiences, lessons learned, never giving up, and make eating & exercising your lifestyle. And, how accountability with your counselor or life coach is key with LA Weightloss. My fabulous experience ended when LA Weightloss became an Internet business after 25 years. Similar to Nutri-System.
