Created QKSS in Argentina in 2002 and sold to my partner in 2008. I helped grow the company from 0 to 50 employees, created new business models (call center, human resource). We had big clients in US and Canada like Walmart, Energy savings, Information technology managers who believe that there is a niche market for small project development founded Quick Software Solutions in April 2002. It has become evident that while most companies focus on large projects or staff augmentation, few companies focus on aiding business analysts with small projects. The reason for this is simply cost. It is very difficult for a company solely based in the US to carry the marketing and development costs associated with small projects. Although using offshore development would seem to be a good way to defer the development cost, most countries offering lower labor costs are in a different time zone. Therefore, our challenge was to find a lower labor cost within the same time zone to allow us a competitive advantage with projects with tighter deadlines.
