I was very fortunate to work with Juliana for a short period of time, even though not in the same group. But it was very easy to realise how competent and dedicated she is. Not only Juliana has a strong knowledge within her duties at work, but also she demonstrates that her personality has a perfect fit with her professional activities. She is a person very concerned with the environment and with how we can improve our attitude towards sustainability, which enforces her speech inside and outside the work place. I'm glad to know her and would definitelly recomend her.

In 2013, a group of trusted alumni, led by Juliana Schneider and Mari del Mar Turato, began a practical exploration of what would be possible to grow in Brazil by truly and consistently paying attention to the local relationships formed and being formed. By carefully fostering genuine collaboration between different projects, farms and organisations, after five years, more than 700 hundred people have undertaken the long and short programs, focusing on alternative economics and a holistic, ecological approach to science, design and human action.Activities beyond immersive courses have included gatherings, talks, public lectures. No matter the form, these activities have served to genuinely nourish a more relational way of thinking and being in the world, besides sustaining a diverse network of people, increasing connection and collaboration amongst them and further action in the world. Important aspects of this education include an ecological and interconnected worldview, integral learning, reflexive practices and community living. Show less
