  I started at Zeewaardig as an intern, with the goal to learn more about facilitating co-creative sessions, teaching and practicing design methods and get some real life experience. I ended up having a great time coaching officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the customer journey method and user-central thinking. At Zeewaardig, I tackle complex societal and social issues together with a team of energetic and enthusiastic designers, and together with clients with an open mindset.   Over the course of six months I graduated at the Participatory City Making Lab on designing a circular network for the BUCH area. With their excessive residual waste, the BUCH municipalities are struggling with the goals from the government for a circular economy in 2050. In this graduation I focused on decreasing the residual waste by connecting local businesses and entrepreneurs with their visionary ambitions and residual material streams. By bringing them together, they were enabled to share their ideals and collaborate. In three months we set up this community, and plans are to keep it going in the next years.
