I started at Zeewaardig as an intern, with the goal to learn more about facilitating co-creative sessions, teaching and practicing design methods and get some real life experience. I ended up having a great time coaching officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the customer journey method and user-central thinking. At Zeewaardig, I tackle complex societal and social issues together with a team of energetic and enthusiastic designers, and together with clients with an open mindset. • Graduation Student
      • Feb 2021 - Aug 2021

Over the course of six months I graduated at the Participatory City Making Lab on designing a circular network for the BUCH area. With their excessive residual waste, the BUCH municipalities are struggling with the goals from the government for a circular economy in 2050. In this graduation I focused on decreasing the residual waste by connecting local businesses and entrepreneurs with their visionary ambitions and residual material streams. By bringing them together, they were enabled to share their ideals and collaborate. In three months we set up this community, and plans are to keep it going in the next years. In order to facilitate similar projects in other regions, a circular community startkit has been developed as well. Awarded with a 9. Show less

    • Intern designer
      • Apr 2018 - Jul 2018

As a result of my portfolio for the minor Spaces of Display that I took at Architecture in 2017, Jos van Dijk asked me to do an internship with him, to get acquainted with the world of retail design. During this period I worked on various projects, from interiors of coffee shops and clothing stores to graphic design and the redesign of an animal clinic. Here I have increased my knowledge in the field of communication with the client and I have learned a lot about spatial layout. I have also increased my InDesign and Sketchup skills here. Show less
