As part of a multi- discipline consulting company I am responsible for various tasks within the framework of Social Responsibility. AERM has as its core focus the delivering of sound environmental, occupational health and safety upliftment solutions to the industrial and mining sectors within South Africa. To achieve the above mentioned, AERM assists organisations in managing and maintaining their responsibilities towards stakeholders to enable them to meet reporting requirements as stated in the Global Reporting Initiative.My KPA’s within our chosen field of operation is divided into the planning and execution of Conferences, Consultation Services, Training and Workshops.As part of a relative small, highly skilled group of professionals, all functions within a consulting company had to be managed and executed due to focused specialist knowledge and confidentiality agreements within the client service provider relationship.Among other personality traits a small consulting company requires long working hours, efficiency due to time restraints based on the “first time right approach”, excellent personal - and communication skills and the ability to work under pressure due to work load and client expectations. Personal contributions to the company is measured by output and not by hours spent per assignment. Time management is the essence of productivity.
