      I am now working as an Android Developer, which involves: Enhancing and supporting Android camera framework from Linux Kernel, through native libraries, up to Android application framework: client/service communication, binder, libraries usage, multithreading. Knowledge of Android API and framework (C/CPP/Java). Development of several Android apps, with full coverage of Android API - Power Management, Services, Camera, Binder, Multithreading, User Interface... (C/CPP/Java) I’ve worked on several projects, some of them are: Early media start for automotive. This framework used to start the multimedia devices on the board as soon as user starts the engine, so camera and display can be used in 2-3 seconds after kernel has booted. Used the hw overlay interface to send frames from camera directly to display, without interacting with Android framework (which boots very slow for this use case). Android Camera HAL (V1 and V3) development and implementation from scratch. Power management service. Developed a client-service framework, where users connect to a service and manage peripheral devices through it. Binder and thread safety. Fast Power On framework - a framework, which manages the power states of a device. Sets a device to something like a “hibernation” mode, where very little power is being consumed. Killing all unneeded processes, turning off all peripherals. On user interaction, device starts normal operation in 2 to 3 seconds. Project Tango - being a part of camera HAL and Tango HAL development. Managing several video and sensors streams. Synchronizing all of them, managing thread safe queues and providing the synchronized data to Tango interface. Show less
