New York, United States • Coordinate regular trainings for providers connected to the Family Justice Center (FJC) network (on and off-site partners and NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA) non-residential programs) to raise awareness about EHV and the process for assessing eligibility through the Coordinated Assessment and Placement System (CAPS) and Domestic Violence (DV) Vulnerability Assessment form and applying for an EHV. • Liaise with New Destiny Housing EHV staff and partner providers to… Show more • Coordinate regular trainings for providers connected to the Family Justice Center (FJC) network (on and off-site partners and NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA) non-residential programs) to raise awareness about EHV and the process for assessing eligibility through the Coordinated Assessment and Placement System (CAPS) and Domestic Violence (DV) Vulnerability Assessment form and applying for an EHV. • Liaise with New Destiny Housing EHV staff and partner providers to provide program information and updates or address program issues, as needed. • Work with ENDGBV to ensure New Destiny Housing EHV staff is working closely with the Mayor’s Office Public Engagement Unit (PEU) staff to gather apartment listings from the City’s HOME database to ensure successful apartment matches for clients. • Support the FJC Directors and HRA non-res provider directors/supervisors in addressing any program inquires, as well as respond to any client inquiries about the program that are brought to ENDGBV’s attention. • Review weekly lists of EHV eligible clients as generated by the CAPS survey for the fleeing DV category and work with ENDGBV staff to connect those clients to NYCHA and HPD to begin the application process. • Work with ENDGBV to monitor weekly and monthly referral and application targets and help address gaps and overflow issues timely as they arise. • Review regular data reports generated by CAPS, NYCHA and HPD that are submitted to city leaders as program updates and monitoring to ensure ENDGBV’s data is accurate. • Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date data on program highlights to provide to ENDGBV as needed. • Attend City Hall meetings with ENDGBV staff to provide updates and raise concerns and issues about the EHV Program to city leaders.
