It was our family's good fortune to have Julia as my granddaughter's Supports Coordinator. I cannot say enough about Julia's dedication to the welfare of her clients. She ceaselessly went above and beyond the basic requirements of her position. She was able to help us access services for my granddaughter to meet her immediate needs and she directed us to things that we would need to know for her future. The day that she left Lenape was a sad one for us. While her compassionate care was greatly appreciated, the knowledge and initiative that applied to helping Lindsay is greatly missed. No one has matched her yet. She is extraordinarily dedicated, knowledgeable, skilled and motivate to give her best, consistently. Mary Margaret Krimmel

As a Clinial Specialist, I worked with individuals in residential group homes who experience depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, physical or verbal aggresion, visual/auditory hallucinations and other forms of mental health. Data was tracked by a team of support staff, in which I reviewed to ensure proper supports were in place to assist the individual to feel more stable. Data would be presented quarterly to prescribing psychiatrist to ensure that appropriate medications are prescribed. Annual assessments were completed to see where the individual is making progress or where they may be regressing. These assessments help to show if an individual requires modifications to their home or environment to ensure proper safety. Show less

As a Supports Coordinator, I carried a caseload of individuals, whether they remained living with their families or whether they lived in a residential group home within their community, in which I assisted with ensuring that they were receiving the services and supports they needed through Medicaire and Medicade. This was accomplished through advocating with the county of residence, advocacy groups and local state representatives. I assessed their current needs to ensure the approriate services were in place, developed Individual Support Plans, ensured annual medicaide paperwork was completed in order to maintain services and ensured that their health, safety and welfare were being appropriately cared for.
