Having worked with Yuliya for almost two years, I must say she is an excellent professional. She is quick to understand new areas in a complex platform and is a true advocate for team work processes. Trying to implement these during covid was a bit of a challenge though, but I really liked the few mob sessions Yuliya pushed for us to have. She takes responsibility and delivers what promised - simply a developer you can trust doing the job! Apart that, a sociable and easy to work with college and I would really like to work with her again if opportunity is given in the future.

I was lead engineer of the team when Yuliya work with us at Rentalcars.com. She was great Java developer. Not only she write quick code but also quality code. I was very impressed with her. Initially we had languages issue as we speak English here at Rentalcars and english was not her first language but she work hard on her english and by the time she leave my team she was really good in english. That shows her commitment on self improvement. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for good, smart and committed software engineer.

I work on Spotify's CI/CD system enabling hundreds of developers to build and deploy a very heterogeneous set of projects in a consistent way. We build and support whole CI/CD system, starts from build run till push changes to production. We have and support tens of services, which helps us to build huge systems which work together and provide different types of services - such as jenkins machines, docker containers, build feedbacks to the UI system, security, code coverage and integration with cloud solutions. In additional, we have a template solutions which can be used on-the-go to quickly run CI/CD system to any type of service. I participated in a big system changes, such as introducing new mechanism for having our system much more stable, re-write services completely and reduce people’s request for help. Furthermore, I participate in investigation on how to persuade people to use our templates by unvestigating their needs. This is heavy job which require a broad knowledge in different tech areas, great communication skills and eager to support people who use the system. Working with Java, Google Cloud, PostgreSQL, different types of tests, docker, Jenkins, Maven, pubsub, github webhooks, grpc etc Show less
