Julia is a great programmer and trainer. She breaks information down to the smallest digestible bit and byte.

John Sulak

I brought both new comers and experienced Synon programmers with me to Julia's class. She communicated in such a way that she explained and demonstrated concepts to people with little background knowledge while providing deeper insights to the experienced Synon programmers. During breaks, and after class, experienced Synon programmers would ask her exotic questions that were well beyond the scope of the training. Julia was always friendly and patient and she always had the answer.

I led a team of 7 developers to convert the back end of a complex Flow Manufacturing application from CA/2E to CA-Plex. We later developed a key performance indicators web dashboard interface for the application in Java. I designed and coded patterns for application infrastructure, and business logic modules. Languages used were Java, CA/2E, and CA-Plex, with a SQL Server database. I was also responsible for creating processes and creating and maintaining documents for ISO certification. Multi-faceted responsibilities for this CASE tool software vendor that created the Synon/2E (now CA:2E) and Obsydian (now CA:Plex) CASE tools. My responsibilites for both the 2E and Plex products included pre-sales support, hotline support for customers and to support our consultants in the field, customer application consulting, developing training materials, delivering training classes in branch offices and at client sites, presenting at conferences, and performing QA for new product releases. Wrote a bi-directional bridge to transfer data and code models between the IEF and 2E CASE tools using RPG and 2E.
