Outdoor Gear Rental Manager
-
May 2020 - Aug 2021
Oversee the Outdoor Gear Rental program at Colorado State University, including training and scheduling staff, maintaining rental contracts and contacting patrons about lost or broken equipment. At the beginning of my time in this position I was faced with redesigning the rental process in accordance with CDC guidelines for capacity restrictions and decontamination protocol due to COVID-19. I did so effectively by creating appointments for rental times, assisting in digitizing the rental contract, implementing cleaning procedures for each rental item and training the staff on these new processes.

Intern at Geospatial Centroid
-
May 2020 - Aug 2021
Collaborate with small groups of interns to complete spatial analysis projects for stakeholders within the University and beyond. Projects have a wide range of application, but generally involve frequent meetings with the stakeholder and a final report upon completion. In the Summer and Fall of 2020 I worked with two other interns to complete a comprehensive project for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. We used three shoreline resolutions to estimate the linear distance of shoreline occupied by all 180 National Wildlife Refuges within the USFWS.
