As a Day service provider I work with adults with all different kinds of disabilities. We get them involved in the community and we help them get jobs. I love this job because of how rewarding it is to know that you are impacting the lives of others who are less privileged. Working in the restaurant business was an eye opener because it taught me hospitality and how to be personable. Even though the work wasn't my ideal job it brought in the money when I needed it. This job taught me all of my skills that I continue to strengthen in. Time management and communication are two important traits to have in a restaurant. As one of the busiest restaurants in the state this job taught me to work really hard. Working in the restaurant business was an eye opener because it taught me hospitality and how to be personable.
