Julia is an experienced professional in HR, with a keen focus on Learning and Development. Drove the global HR strategy and developed local HR strategies in partnership with the leaders in the organisation. Attended the country leadership meetings and advised our country leader and Business Unit leaders on the HR strategies required for effective business results. Led a team of thirteen across ANZ. STS designs and manufactures a range of highly specialised machines incorporating innovative technology used in the production of semiconductors and semiconductor related devices. Introduced a comprehensive role re-classification and re-grading scheme across the whole company (globally), including an overhaul of old terms and conditions and the introduction of new and improved benefits. This was completed within a nine month timescale. The project covered all staff including the R&D, Manufacturing and Production. Other responsibilities and projects included: Forming and making a success of the Employee Consultation Group. This group became the back bone of an effective two way communications process allowing staff to be fully informed and the company to meet its requirements under the Information and Consultation Regulations. It was also key in restructuring the employee deal. Running a project that saw a complete over haul to the way in which recruitment was completed in the company - the new process leveraged the best vendors and was very cost effective. It allowed STS to head hunt the best candidates in the technological and scientific fields Advising managers on international HR issues as and when required, and ensuring all work permits are up to date The design and implementation of HR policies and procedures such as absence, working hours and overtime, etc. Developing close working relationships with the CEO, Directors, Senior Managers and employees across the business to improve and deliver added value HR Development of HR administrator, and office administrators, through delegation, coaching and training methods in line with business and personal needs Show less
