  At my current job here, I have been trained to be a barista. I have recently been promoted to be a Full Barista, meaning that I have mastered the skills I have learned, and I also am in charge mostly of training. I always work by myself, and have a lot of experience with opening and closing the store. Sometimes it is fast paced here, but other times it's nice, because I get to take care of the shop. I clean and organize and watch over inventory. Lately, my boss has been allowing me to take more projects on, such as coming up with new drinks, and finding more efficient ways to do inventory. I take a lot of pride in my work here and I am passionate about the people in the community. It is a joy to get to meet people and serve them.

  During my time in the Mayor's Office, I was honored to have been asked to conduct a research paper on how city governments can handle Racism as a Public Health Crisis. Throughout the summer I was able to speak with many constituents to receive insight on how the city worked, and in turn, I was able to draft some potential solutions to disparities in the city of Cincinnati.

  In this role, I learned how to work in a highly busy environment, while remaining calm and kind with customers. My shifts included many responsibilities such as counting cash drawers, doing inventory, training new baristas, and making deliveries.

  In this role, I was the sole illustrator for a Bible Study on Instagram in which I designed over 50 images for the author. The author had me create daily designs to express the message of her work.
