Julia Choudhury has provided first class litigation support to Sherrards on a very significant matter. Having worked very closely with Julia for three years, I have no hesitation in recommending her legal services. We worked on a major financial services case where Julia acted as the clients' project manager acting as their liasion with us providing day to day instructions on the conduct of the matter. Julia also provided forensic and litigation support to the Sherrards litigation team. Julia was embedded with Sherrards for the duration of the matter which culminated in a thirty day trial in the High Court and a fraud judgment against an array of Defendants who were also found to have conspired to commit fraud with damages and costs in excess of £5m. Julia worked on special and key projects providing key input and analysis into the key commercial issues at stake which formed the basis for the claim and the supporting evidence. With over 100,000 documents to be reviewed Julia provided a very skilled and thorough review of the material as well as providing support to Counsel through out the case and the lengthy trial. Julia was also a very effective witness providing evidence tantamount to an expert's report with her evidence going largely unchallenged.

Franchise Brands is focused on building market-leading businesses in selected customer segments using primarily a franchise model. The Group currently has a combined network of over 450 franchisees across five franchise brands. Our focus is on established brands that can benefit from our shared support services, specialist sector expertise, management experience and group resources. Franchise Brands’ portfolio of market-leading service businesses grew in 2019 with the acquisition of Willow Pumps. The addition of Willow Pumps, a direct labour organisation, represented an important step in expanding Metro Rod and Metro Plumb’s range of services to the commercial market. The Group is organised into a B2B division comprised of Metro Rod, Metro Plumb and Willow Pumps, and a B2C division incorporates ChipsAway, Ovenclean and Barking Mad. This divisional organisation of our brands is designed to provide a greater focus and structure to support the strategic development of our B2B and B2C brands. Each of our brands are leaders in their respective markets and each brand has a long trading history. The combined trading history of all the Group’s brands is over 125 years. Franchise Brands plc is quoted on the Alternative Investment Market (“AIM”) of the London Stock Exchange. The Company’s shares trade under the ticker code FRAN.L. Show less
