Sep 2021 - May 2023
Fordham Sustainable Fashion partnered with the Responsible Business Coalition to analyze the fashion industry's effect on the environment and host a panel at the end of the year featuring luxury brand sustainability experts. The research team gathered information about fashion brand trends and practices, organized the panel event, and asked the panelists questions based on our final research. We aimed to raise awareness, educate our academic community, and prepare for the ethical realities of the fashion industry. Show less

Show Production Volunteer
-
Feb 2022 - Sep 2022
In preparation for New York Fashion Week, SFW volunteers were asked to make social media content and assist at model fittings during the week leading up to the show. The day of the show entailed organizing the venue, guiding guests to their seats, changing models backstage, and being the "interns" of the event planners. Our job was to focus on facilitating an orderly, enjoyable, and aesthetically pleasing show.
