  I worked in an inner city public school in Providence, Rhode Island. Mentored and coached fifteen 7th graders in: Attendance, Behavior and Academics (math). I specialized in attendance initiatives for students which included but is not limited to (monthly pizza parties for monthly perfect attendance, daily motivation check-ins with chronically absent students, phone calls home to parents, partnership with Get School initiative to increase whole school attendance) Facilitated an after school program for girls called Girl Talk. Geared towards discussing the issues that middle school girls experience in school and out of school. Designed and implemented 10 months worth of activities for the girls.
