  I manage more than 125 staff members in a 48 bed ICU divided into 3 specialty areas: CCU (Coronary Care Unit), MICU (Medical Intensive care unit), and SICU (Surgical Intensive Care Unit). In this role I ensure continual delivery of high-quality nursing care by adopting and implementing innovative nursing practices to improve our facility. I recruit, select, and guide nursing staff into becoming integrated team members in the ICU. I ensure that the nursing staff remains in compliance with professional development and regulatory standards, and maintain a healthy, collaborative team environment.
