  I founded Sorrento Express Ltd in the mid 90s with my husband. In that time, we have seen it grow from strength to strength. As of today, we are one of the leading regional suppliers of Italian food and wine to the catering trade, particularly in the London and South East area, employing approximately 30 people. My responsibilities as Financial Director are varied, as can be expected in a small business. I am responsible for managing the business bank account, liaising with the bank and ensuring that the bank provides the best possible business growth solutions for us as a company. The main solutions I have set up and negotiated are business overdraft facilities, invoice financing and import loans. In addition to this, I oversee a team of 7 office staff. Through this, I have acquired an intimate knowledge of leadership and management. Having been with the business since it was just my husband and I, I am also able to perform the tasks of all our office staff to a high level, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and executive credit control. To summarise, I consider myself a multi-discipline business manager, qualified by experience and the need to constantly develop. Show less
