Responsible for; • Establishing the Digital Hub from scratch and growing the team to c.200 at peak • Extending the home improvement customer journeys to attract new traffic and increase share of wallet of the leading home improvement projects • Exploring innovative technologies (eg AI, Visual recognition, Bots) and applying Service Design principles to deliver MVPs to address customer problems before failing fast or scaling the successes • Creating and delivering the 3yr Digital Strategy, applying a mobile-first strangle pattern to the monolithic commerce engine to move to a Cloud & API based, headless, componentised and highly resilient platform • Introducing & implementing, agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, XP and DevOps) and after proving their success, rolling out the methodologies across the 3 other digital delivery sites Show less
