Clean Energy Access Network (CLEAN) is an industry representative of Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) sector with a clear mandate to support, unify and grow the sector in India. It brings together diverse stakeholders working across India to provide clean energy solutions and build a great network to bridge the gap between enterprises and other stakeholders. At CLEAN, I have been representing the Access to Finance vertical at various places and events. The role involves interaction with the enterprises (mainly MSMEs) working in DRE sector, to understand the demands and provide them hand-holding support, and investors, to sensitize them about the sector and connect them with the enterprises. We are also involved in designing informative reading material and organizing workshops and training programs for the stakeholders related to financing in the DRE sector. Along with that, we are continuously involved in research to find out opportunities for the member organizations. The outreach for these information are done on monthly basis through CLEAN Digest. We have also developed a Finance Facilitation Desk (FFD) which is a portal for the stakeholders for the financial and business opportunities available in the sector and the source for latest market knowledge. We regularly work on the updating and improvement of this platform by the help of member’s feedback. I was also involved in development for two major reports by CLEAN: 1- State of the Decentralized Renewable Energy Sector in India 2019-20 Report 2- Sensitizing Financial Institutions Towards Lending to Decentralized Renewable Energy Enterprises and End-Users I was the part of core team member and was involved in development of research questionnaire, data collection, secondary research and compilation of the report. I was also the part of report launch and dissemination team for both the reports. Show less

Saksham Bitiya Abhiyan is an initiative by Piramal foundation and NITI Aayog to empower girls and promote girl child education in some of the aspirational districts. I was interning for Begusarai district of Bihar and was the part of capacity building team. My role involved designing of the debrief sessions for capacity building of the volunteers (college going girls) involved in teaching the girls of their locality. We conducted sessions for these volunteers on weekly basis and tried to educate them on various themes like communication, documentation, empowerment and menstrual hygiene. We also tried to make the session interesting and interactive so that the volunteers feel comfortable to share their one weeks experience and openly discuss their problems. Depending upon their sharing, the team tried to come up with the solution. Show less
