Judy is one of the best IT teachers going in RuTC and I learnt so much off Judy her teaching techniques are best to none. Would really recommend her!

Apparently, there's no choice for "this person was a mentor" but, I suppose this is close enough. Judy sums up the epitome of a perfect teacher. She care's just enough about the students that she's managing and/or teaching that she can empathise with their situations and understand what they are going through; but at the same time, can have the same amount of disregard for the student that she can whack them into shape, should they step out of line. It's this balance that is important. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying she doesn't care about her students. I'm saying that she cares enough about them to tell them they've fucked up. Both 'down-to-earth' and strict (for lack of better phrases), Judy is what I was looking for in a teacher for my entire academic career. Sadly, it was only at the end of said career that she was there, otherwise I might have been whipped into shape sooner. Hopefully, she can, and will, continue to mentor the troubled, misbehaved and down-right dickheads of our current generations youth. If she does, we may just have a glimmer of hope in a society that is more concerned with which degree their 'flat-cap' is facing than the progression of educational standards.
