  I started working in this aluminum finishing plant as a sorter/inspector and worked my way up through a variety of roles. I was honored to work in a side by side role, assisting a "hands-on" owner/founder of the company, in an apprentice and process development role. I also instituted and oversaw the safety committee and was trained as a first responder for hazmat emergencies. While the science behind anodizing and other aspects of aluminum finishing was both intriguing and exciting, my personal interest in the environment eventually moved me in the direction of waste water management, pollution control, and environmental services.
