It is with pride and pleasure that I am charged with managing this cutting-edge program for young adults with developmental disabilities, specifically in transitioning individuals successfully from high school to independence in the community.   During my employment in the Santa Cruz City High Schools as a Physical Education teacher, I have served as the Department Head and Curriculum Development Leader for most of my 25 years. Teaching every student of all abilities has been a challenge that I embrace daily. In my classes, my main objective is to create an inclusive culture and to develop in the students, a strong sense that everyone has something to learn and something to teach.
